Elephant Heart Plum Jam


The best jams, like the best ice creams, make us feel all happy and giddy like a kid again. This jam is my ice cream.

I fell in love with Elephant Heart plums when I first moved to the Bay Area. They are drab-looking, brownish purple on the outside, but deep, dark blood red on the inside. The jam is also gorgeously bright red and super delicious. It's my all-time favorite red plum jam.
